Is Buzzirk in a Death Spiral?
I’m seeing some disgruntled comments on my site from Buzzirk Reps who are starting to get very nervous. Add to this the fact that Troy over at MLMHelpdesk.com is reporting that Global Verge Founders terminated Steve Lewis, Teresa Curtis, Warren Hanchey and crew before they had a chance to resign.
Can anyone update me on the status of the phone shipment? Have ANY phones shipped this month?
Also, the Laptop Magazine award that Zer01 has been bragging about has been revoked!
Effective immediately, we are rescinding the Best of CTIA Award given to Zer01 Mobile at April’s CTIA Wireless 2009. We’re taking this extraordinary step, because of serious ethical questions that have arisen about the company. We can no longer endorse its service and therefore are compelled to warn our readers to avoid it.

Hope not, i want to try a buzzirk phone.
There are quite a few people getting nervous about this company. When the product did not launch July 1 the negative articles started to pile up.
I am a distributor that understands that new launches often run into problems and delays. I also realize that this company was not prepared for the 30,000 new members it received in June. in fact it was one of the biggest months for a pre launch in MLM history.
I have been very patient waiting for the management to work through these problems and must admit that the public relations and communication from Global Verge and Zer01 has been awful. This may be growing pains and inability to understand how powerful the internet can be.
I was never comfortable with Steve Lewis and his crew and was actually relieved to learn they were cut loose. It does not sit right with me that an active distributor should be the CEO. I was on his final call and was not impressed with his demeanor.
The fact that their offices are not first class means nothing to me. Some of the biggest companies in the world were started in people’s garages.
What we need to see in the next 10 days is positive movement. We need to see the phones being released, with YouTube videos showing them in action and above all, they need to get the commissions straightened out so people are getting paid.
I am not here to defend Buzzirk Mobile, but it is a problem when ex distributors quit and start pushing another company by posting negative comments. I would never join with a person that uses this type of marketing to promote their opportunity.
If Buzzirk Mobile can get the phones out and get their back office in shape this is still a fantastic business opportunhity for the people that hang in there. If they don’t this company will go down in flames.
If we see positive action in the next 10 days the negative articles and posts will disappear and Buzzirk Mobile stands poised to be a giant in the wireless mobile industry.
We shall see!
Did you listen to the last to calls that Steve did? If you did I am sure you are aware of the discrepancies. Steve was only hired as a temporary CEO. Rumor has it that he is and as promoting another company. It is too bad when something like this happens and unfortunately it hurts everyone…however, I must say I respect the company for not addressing this…only wishing Steve well.
I have been watching this whole saga with Buzzirk since about mid June. The latest news from Laptop Magazine is a pretty big blow. A subtle blow that will most likely happen over the next few months is one by Financial Destination. About the same time that the Buzzirk launch didn’t occur back in the beginning of July, Financial Destination announced that they will be launching a full line of telecom products come August 15th (following their annual conference). Buzzirk reps will likely migrate to Financial Destination, especially after the telecom products are available for purchase following the conference. Check out my link for more info.
We’ll have to see which companies emerge as the winners of the “wireless wars”. I’ll be covering them all right here!
